Ruth is an award winning illustrator and painter. Since graduating she has undertaken commissions for the publishing, editorial, product and advertising sector.

Ruth won the Gold Advertising Award from the AOI (Association of Illustrators) exhibition, Images 36: The Best of British Illustration 2012.

The winning piece is called ‘Smithfield Market’ and is one of four posters commissioned by Transport for London.

The images were used on advertising posters on the underground system promoting interesting destinations in London.
